Meet & Greet

At Willsbridge Walkies we always insist on a Meet & Greet session before you book your dog in for boarding or daycare. This is a free service that allows you to view our home and ask any questions you may have.

What should I bring to the meet & greet?

The most important thing to bring is your dog. The Meet & Greet is an opportunity for your dog to get to know me and for me to get to know him or her; that way your dog will be more relaxed when the time comes for their stay. Other than that we just need to see your dog’s vaccination certificate and will ask you to fill in a couple of forms.

What happens during the visit?

This is an informal meeting to ensure that you are happy with the service we offer and that you will be happy leaving your beloved pet with us. It usually lasts about an hour, during which you can see where your dog will sleep, eat and play. We will discuss your dog’s individual needs, for example their exercise routine, diet and favourite games. You can also ask us any questions you may have about our service.

Does my Dog need a trial?

Dogs who come to Willsbridge Walkies for daycare or boarding must have a trial as this is now a requirement of the new licensing regulations.  We will organise a trial day for daycare or trial overnight stay for boarding, so your dog can experience a normal stay with us. This can be very reassuring if you are worried about how your dog will settle with us. These are charged at our normal rates.
