Meet & Greet
At Willsbridge Walkies, we always insist on a Meet & Greet session before you book your dog in for boarding or daycare. This session allows you to view our home, ask any questions you may have and for us to assess whether we're the right fit for your dog.
There is a £15 charge for the Meet and Greet, which covers the time spent getting to know you and your dog, and preparing the space for a calm, individual introduction.
What should I bring to the meet & greet?
The most important thing to bring is your dog. The Meet & Greet is a chance for your dog to get to know me and for me to get to know them; that way, your dog will be more relaxed when the time comes for their stay. Please also bring your dog’s vaccination certificate and will ask you to fill in a couple of forms.
What happens during the visit?
This is an informal meeting to ensure that you are happy with the service we offer and feel comfortable leaving your beloved pet in our care. It usually lasts about an hour, during which you can see where your dog will sleep, eat and play. We will discuss your dog’s individual needs, including their exercise routine, diet and favourite games. You can also ask us any questions you may have about our service.
Does my Dog need a trial?
Yes - dogs who come to Willsbridge Walkies for daycare or boarding must have a trial, in line with current licensing regulations. We will organise a trial day for daycare or trial overnight stay for boarding, so your dog can experience a normal stay with us. This can be very reassuring if you are worried about how your dog will settle with us. These are charged at our standard daycare or boarding rates.
