Terms and Conditions

In order to run a safe and efficient environment for all the dogs, all owners agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions.

Terms & Conditions - General

  1. All clients will be deemed to have accepted Willsbridge Walkies’ terms and conditions on use of any current services.

  2. All male dogs over the age of 9 months must be neutered unless agreed with Willsbridge Walkies.

  3. All dogs must be micro-chipped and wearing an ID tag with your current phone number on and address but not a name. Your dog will also be required to wear a Willsbridge Walkies tag whilst in our care as per licence requirements ( boarding).

  4. The client must provide Willsbridge Walkies with the name and contact number of someone capable of making a decision relating to the dog(s) in an emergency. If the owner or emergency contact is not available Willsbridge Walkies reserves the right to consult with a veterinary surgeon and then make a decision which is in the best interest of the animal.

  5. The client is responsible for any veterinary bills whilst pets are in the care of Willsbridge Walkies.

  6. Willsbridge Walkies reserves the right to refuse admission if the client fails to provide adequate proof of vaccinations, or the vaccinations are found to be expired or otherwise incomplete.

  7. The client agrees to take any necessary measures or precautions to ensure that their dog is continuously free of contagious, infectious, or otherwise communicable diseases including adequate flea, tick and worm treatments. Willsbridge Walkies needs to be made aware of any health conditions and reserves the right to refuse admission until satisfied that the condition is resolved.

  8. Bitches may not attend Willsbridge Walkies while in season or pregnant. Willsbridge Walkies reserves the right to refuse admission if these criteria are not met.

  9. The client consents to their dog being photographed, videotaped, and/or used in any media or advertising by Willsbridge Walkies without prior approval. All such media remains the property of Willsbridge Walkies.

  10. Working hours are between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday. If you wish your dog to be dropped off earlier than 8am or picked up after 6pm this may be possible but is at the discretion of Willsbridge Walkies and will incur an extra charge.

Terms and Conditions - Dog Walking (in addition to general terms above)

  1. All dogs will be exercised on a lead unless prior agreement has been reached with Willsbridge Walkies and an ‘off the lead consent form’ has been signed, and this will remain at the discretion of Willsbridge Walkies staff.

  2. The walker will apply personal judgment and cut short a walk if necessary in the case of extreme weather conditions ( i.e. heat, thunder storms) for the safety of both the dogs and the walker.

Terms and Conditions – Boarding and Daycare (in addition to general terms above)

1. The client gives permission for his or her dog to be together with, rest, play or sleep night or day in any designated room with other dogs from different households that may be boarding or attending day care at the same time and with Willsbridge Walkies resident dog.

2. Willsbridge Walkies will not confirm any booking until a meet and greet and trial has been carried out, vaccination details have been seen and the contract has been signed. We operate on a ‘first come, first served’ basis with bookings. A telephone enquiry/provisional booking is not accepted as a confirmed booking.

3. A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required for all boarding bookings which must be paid in order to secure your booking.

3. Boarding and Daycare trials - If a meet and greet is successful, a trial date will be organised, and Willsbridge Walkies will invoice the client at the normal rate. Payment is required in advance of the trial.

4. Boarding stays - A 50% non-refundable booking fee is required to confirm a booking. The remaining 50% should be paid at least 24 hours before the stay date.

5. Daycare – A deposit is not required to make daycare bookings. Daycare will generally be organised at least one month in advance and payment is required in advance at the beginning of the month.

6. Daycare cancellations - 30 days-notice of cancellation of booked dates is required in order for a refund to be given. We will always do our best to accommodate any requests for a change in days or for last minute care, but this cannot be guaranteed.

7. The client must provide all items necessary for pets to be adequately cared for in the client's absence. (i.e., food, medication, leads, tags, collars, etc). Should pets require any additional supplies whilst in the care of Willsbridge Walkies, these will be purchased and added to the bill after consultation with the owner,

8. Using a crate: We will only use a crate provided by you, the owner, and only if it is used as a part of your dog’s normal routine. If your dog sleeps in a locked crate at night or uses it during the day for whatever reason the client gives permission for Willsbridge Walkies to continue to do during your dog’s stay.

9. During your dog’s stay, Willsbridge Walkies will check your dog’s body, paws, eyes, ears, teeth and gums daily, particularly after walks for foreign objects, grass seeds, other vegetation, parasites etc. We will also check for matting and if necessary remove it, as this can cause your dog unnecessary pain.
